When you finish this course, you should have...

FAQ

  • Do I need a laptop?

    You don't need any special kind of device to take this class, but if you want to follow along with the software tool a laptop running either Mac or Windows operating systems is the best option.

  • Will I need to purchase software to follow along?

    Nope! The software tool I'll show you has a free trial that you can easily download if you'd like. If you decide to purchase the software at a later date, it's a one-time purchase (rather than a subscription). All Pattern Writing Academy students are able to purchase a highly discounted student license as well.

  • What's the difference between this class and the Pattern Writing Academy?

    This class covers about 5% of what is in the Pattern Writing Academy. HOWEVER, that doesn't mean this class doesn't have valuable content! It's intended to be an introduction into the world of quilt design, and will give you the basics needed to get started on your own. The Pattern Writing Academy is a comprehensive course that teaches you everything I know about each step of the pattern writing process, and covers multiple different software tools, skills, and business building strategies.

  • Is this class live?

    No. A new module will be released each day for 3 days, but you can take the lessons in the modules at your own pace for the week that the class is live.

  • How long will I have access to this class?

    The class content will expire on February 6th, 2024.
