The Ghost Hollow Quilt Pattern
The Ghost Hollow pattern is the perfect new project for spooky season! It comes with two different layouts; a Landscape Layout and a Column Layout, and the option of an on-demand video class if you are new to any of the techniques! This pattern assumes experience with Foundation Paper Piecing, basic applique, and curves. This is a PDF pattern and comes in a throw size that measures 60" x 70".
The Ghost Hollow quilt pattern is rated Advanced for the number of skills required to make it (traditional piecing, curves, FPP, and Applique), though none of the blocks are particularly challenging. Because of how many new skills may be required for this pattern, there is an option to purchase a pre-recorded course to accompany this pattern. This course can be taken at will cover the same things that would be taught in an in-person class, with skill demonstrations, pattern-specific tips and tricks, and more. Please note that the class can ONLY be purchased with the pattern at this time.
The cover quilt can be replicated with:
A: Kona Cotton White
B: Fableism Sprout Wovens in Stellar
C: Fableism Sprout Wovens in Black Cherry
D: Fableism Sprout Wovens in Spicy
E: Kona Cotton Natural
F: Kona Cotton Brown
G: Kona Cotton Black

The Ghost Hollow Pattern is here! I’m not sure I’ve ever put so much time and energy into a pattern before, so this one feels a bit special. I hope you love these spooky little buddies!
This pattern is a bit special because it comes with two different layouts; a Landscape Layout and a Column Layout, and the option of an on-demand video class to help you through the blocks and techniques! This pattern uses bits of applique, FPP, and curves so the video tutorials can be super helpful.
Here’s an example of the Column layout!
Now let’s take a look at the fabulous work of my testers! They gave me so many great tips and ideas to make this pattern as user friendly as possible.
Check out the perfect panto and lovely colors of Karin’s version! The panto is “West Wind Halloween”.
I love the pumpkin colors chosen below by Nik. Those pink pumpkins are so sweet!
Megan used a really cool background for her quilt that looks like a spooky sky full of stars!
Many people chose blue backgrounds for this quilt, but this bright royal blue really pops against the hot pink and lavender pumpkins and pale ghosts!
Sue’s color choices make the ghosts seems like they are just coming out of the misty background - so cutely creepy!
Ilana used a speckle fabric for this quilt and it is just perfect, also creating a feeling of shimmering stars on a spooky night!
These white trees set off the bats and dark background beautifully!
