This yearly sampler runs from October through December and brings creative joy right up to the holidays. Weekly newsletters will be sent out on Monday mornings.

Solstice Sampler Fabric Requirements:

The sample was made with Riley Blake Confetti Cotton solids. This sampler finishes at 60” x 60” with the final borders, and requires 4 yards of backing fabric and 1/2 yard of binding fabric.

  • The sew along runs from October 12 to December 14, with one block released each week. All patterns must be downloaded by December 31, 2025.

  • Sign up here to get the patterns delivered to your email each week.

  • You may have previously unsubscribed from Alderwood Studio emails. Sign up here to get back on the mailing list.

  • Each block will measure 18” x 18” finished.

  • Post a photo of your progress (it's ok if it's not the block of the week) on Instagram with the tag #SolsticeSampler2025 and tag @alderwoodstudio in the photo (not just the caption) to ensure you are entered into the drawing.

    Giveaway winners will be chosen and announced in each weekly quilt block newsletter, so be sure to check in weekly to see if you were chosen!
