The Autumn Apothecary includes pumpkins, potion bottles, and cozy witchy apothecary vibes; designed to coordinate with the Riley Blake Designs Apothecary fabric collection.
The Spring Apothecary features quilty mugs, florals, vases, and fresh spring-inspired details.
These patterns are considered intermediate level due to the number of pieces and components involved. However, the techniques themselves are approachable, making them a fun challenge for confident beginners ready to grow their skills.

Meet the Apothecary Patterns! These two sister patterns are here to fulfill your witchy bookcase dreams. These sister patterns were inspired by my latest fabric collection - The Apothecary. Once The Autumn Apothecary pattern was designed, I decided I needed a springy version as well - and the idea for The Spring Apothecary was born.
Both patterns are:
Fat quarter friendly (make them with 9-12 FQs)
Scrap friendly
Designed with multiple layout options
Intermediate level patterns
Because these quilts include quite a few pieces and components, I would consider them intermediate patterns. That said, the techniques themselves are very approachable, so if you’re a confident beginner looking for a challenge, I think you can absolutely make these.
One of my favorite things about these quilts is how customizable they are. You can go fully seasonal, make them scrappy, pull from your stash, or even swap blocks between the two patterns to create your own bookshelf collection. Plus, you can make a bookcase or floating shelf version!
